RMC Vinterjazz: ITALOLATINO

Den eklektiske pianist Antti Lähdesmäki mødte første gang bassisten Sá Reston i Finland, 2018, og startede et intenst kreativt samarbejde, der bragte dem på turné gennem Finland og Brasilien. I anledning af Vinterjazz 2022 besluttede de at genforenes med fløjtenisten Lorenzo Colocci (Italien) og sangerinden Susana Nunes (Portugal) og danne gruppen ITALOLATINO; de vil fremføre traditionel og nykomponeret musik fra Brasilien og Cuba, og forhåbentlig bringe lidt sol over denne udgave af vinterjazzen.

Eclectic pianist Antti Lähdesmäki first met bass player Sá Reston in Finland, 2018, starting an intense creative collaboration that would bring them touring through Finland and Brazil. In occasion of Winter Jazz Cph 2022, they decided to reunite with flutist Lorenzo Colocci (Italy), and singer Susana Nunes (Portugal), to form the band ITALOLATINO; they will perform traditional and newly composed music from Brazil and Cuba, hopefully bringing some sun over this edition of WJC 2022!
