Afgang 2023: Melodi Soltani

Melodi Soltani has worked with the theme connecting some dots… exploring (musical) heritage, trying to weave dots that often find themselves in dualities or dichotomies. The dots, being for example references and languages, can have a common context in these new songs, where Melodi embraces ambiguity and belonging to multiple, yet no, places. Collaging eurodancy synthloops, daf rhythms, Britney Spears melodies, Hafez poems and other elements from childhood home.

On stage with her will be Villads Klint, Peter Brun, Sara Forghani and Albert Hertz. And a special guest vocalist and collaborator will also make an appearance, tying the dots.
