Soundscape Explorations

Soundscape Explorations is the next stage in Klaus Hovman’s ambitious exploration of electronic effects on the bass, and of the bass as a sound source in general. The idea of Soundscape Explorations is to allow the bass to fill the entire audible register with sound.
Through the use of three-dimensional space loops, the juxtaposition of acoustic and effects-based sounds, and a dialogue between live recording and reflective Logic editing, an in-depth exploration is undertaken of the potential of the bass to create independent soundscapes.
