A bodily approach to learning

By Martin Klausen (former employee)

This educational development study sets off from Martin Klausen's own teaching practices at Rhythmic Music Conservatory within the areas of Rytmelære [developing bodily rhythmic skills] and Sang, Dans/Bevægelse og Spil [Singing, dancing and playing]. During almost two decades Klausen has developed his personal bodily approach to this teaching.

The study depicts Klausen's experience with and pedagogical reflections on this practice and even offers sketches of an educational historical context. The report contains a number of specific didactic and musical examples.
