European Association of Conservatoires (AEC)

The European Association of Conservatoires (AEC) is a European cultural and educational network with more than 238 member institutions for professional music training in 55 countries.

AEC objectives and aims:

• Stimulating and supporting international collaboration between member institutions;
  
  
• Realising various international projects about relevant subjects in professional music training;
  
  
• Organising an Annual Congress and various specific seminars for its members;
  
  
• Representing the interests of the professional music training sector on national, European and international level.

RMC takes an active part in the work of AEC, as organiser of meetings, and as a driving force behind initiatives in pop and jazz education.

RMC participates in the AEC Pop Jazz Platform and the thematic AEC Erasmus network Polifonia.
