The assessment is based on:

  • The written application
  • Your performance in the group test
  • The interview

Assessment criteria:

  • Your ability to reflect and to communicate in writing
  • Your communicative and collaborative skills and your creative and innovative skills
  • Your knowledge of the music industry
  • Your work experience from the music industry or other relevant business areas
  • Your marks from your upper secondary school education
  • Your visions for your future profession
  • Your motivation for applying for the programme

Admission after the entrance examination

Usually six students are accepted to the programme. As the number of student places in the programme is limited, the conservatory may reject applicants who have passed the entrance examination.

Within one month of the entrance examination, you will receive a letter indicating whether you have been accepted to the programme or not.

Based on the results from the entrance examination, the best qualified applicants will be offered admission to the programme. If several applicants are equally qualified, the conservatory may take the needs of the music industry into account, when selecting the candidates for the programme.
