Application for the entrance examination

All applicants must submit their application through the coordinated website of the Danish Academies of Music: www.musikuddannelser.dk. The website opens for applications 1st of october. The website contains all the relevant information concerning application procedures, online application forms etc.

Coordinated entrance examinations

The entrance examinations for RMC’s music programmes and for some of the other Danish music conservatories’ Bachelor programmes are coordinated. This means that in your application, you may apply simultaneously for alternative study programmes at various conservatories, listed in your order of priority.

Application deadline

The application deadline for the Bachelor programmes at Rhythmic Music Conservatory is 1 December at 12:00 noon. If 1 December falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday, the deadline will be extended to the next following weekday at 12:00 noon.

Application fee

If you apply for one of RMC’s Bachelor programmes as your first priority, you must pay an application fee of DKK 450. The fee goes towards partial coverage of expenses in connection with the entrance examination, and is non-refundable.

The conservatory will not cover any services charges or similar expenses incurred on your part in connection with transferring the payable fee from your bank or post office. Such additional expenses are on your own account. It is therefore important that you ensure that the conservatory receives the full fee of DKK 450.

When you send/submit your application, please remember to enclose a copy of your receipt for the payment. The receipt must include your name and the text: “Entrance examination + [name of the programme you are applying for]”.
